What to expect when you work with Altius Lifts
Choosing Altius Lifts for your dumbwaiter survey and installation means working with a team focused on reliability, safety, and clear communication.
Step 1 – Enquiry and consultation
You contact the team to outline your requirements, whether you are planning a new build, refurbishment, or upgrade of existing service routes. We arrange a suitable time for your free, no-obligation site survey.
Step 2 – On-site survey
Our engineer attends site to assess the building, listen to how your kitchen, bar, or service areas operate, and gather all relevant technical details. We look at practicalities such as loading points, door positions, user access, and integration with existing operations.
Step 3 – Recommendations and quotation
You receive a clear report setting out:
- Recommended dumbwaiter or food lift configuration.
- Key technical considerations.
- Any enabling works that may be required.
- An itemised, transparent quotation.
There is no obligation to proceed, and we are on hand to answer questions or adjust the proposal to suit your priorities.
Step 4 – Installation planning and delivery
If you choose to go ahead, we plan the works around your operational needs. Installations are scheduled to minimise downtime and disruption, with attention to cleanliness, safety, and communication. All work is delivered by fully trained engineers using appropriate tools and equipment.
Step 5 – Ongoing servicing and support
Once your dumbwaiter or food lift is in service, Altius Lifts can provide planned maintenance and servicing to help keep the lift safe, reliable, and compliant. Routine servicing is typically recommended at least once every three months, depending on usage. 24/7/365 breakdown support is available across the UK should any issues arise.
